Chicago Punk Rock Songwriter’s Circle

Some of Chicago’s most prolific songwriters got together for a special evening at Quenchers Saloon to shoot the shit, talk some shop and recall some of their favorite tour stories, taking some pot shots and fucking up some covers in really embarrassing ways throughout the night.

Sam Vicari was stranded on stage alone to warm up the crowd before Jimmy Zarembski played master of ceremonies as he grilled Rapid’s Mike Petrucelli Dog & Wolf’s Kyle Geib and Winter Classic bandmate Sam Peterson.  Each took their turn playing some original compositions, covers from bands like Wilco and Jawbreaker and explaining a bit about their own personal processes and inspirations.

Check out the highlights below and be sure to stop by the second edition back at Quenchers April 16th.
